Malenia - Elden Ring

Brutalist poster design of the Malenia, the a fan favorite boss in the game Elden Ring.

I took the approach of brutalism as it is a great match to the tone and style of the game. I utilized some symbols from the game, and others that you see in other brutalist work that fit the genre. I replicated the texture and colors of the Elden Ring logo and implemented them in the name at the top of the poster. The color of the background is meant to represent a special ability of Malenia called Scarlet Rot.

My goal was to create poster that could also seem like an alternate cover art for the game case.
